Build Up Your Self Worth

When you don’t feel like you are enough your whole world suffers.  You get caught up in your head about why you aren’t good enough for success, your goals, dreams, or the life you truly desire.  You get stuck in your current situation and think that outside circumstances are what’s keeping you there.  However, that’s not true.  It’s what you believe about yourself and your worth.  It’s time to build up your self worth so that you can confidently believe in yourself to take action towards your goals in life.

 

Self Belief

When you believe that you are truly worthy of something you go after it with all your might.  You don’t second guess yourself, ponder other scenarios, or get sidetracked with self doubt.  You just push forward and take action towards your goals and dreams in life.  You believe that there is no limit to your success and anything is possible.  It’s an undeniable confidence when you believe in yourself and really value your own self worth.

 

Self Talk

Your self worth does not have to suffer.  You can build up your self worth in many ways.  One way is to watch what you’re saying to yourself.  If you hear that negative inner critic chime in, pause and notice what you’re hearing.  This negative self talk is what’s devaluing your self worth because you start believing what the inner critic is saying.  But, if you were to really think about it, you wouldn’t say these negative, mean things to a close friend.  Instead, you’d pump your friend up and cheer them on towards success because you know they are worthy of it and truthfully, so are you.

 

Shift Your Thoughts

You must begin to shift what you are telling yourself.  You can begin with small phrases such as, I believe in you, you can figure this out, you can do hard things, etc.  Find previous evidence in your life that solidifies this new belief is true.  Then, anytime you hear the negative self talk, replace it with a more positive, empowering thought.  The more you work on replacing your negative thoughts with positivity, the more you’ll be willing to take action towards the life of your dreams.

 

Your Future

If you continue to let your negative self talk dictate your way of being, it will also take control over what happens in your future.  You’ll be too scared, afraid, or fearful to take the necessary steps outside of your comfort zone to go after the life you want.  The negative self talk limits what you will and will not achieve in your lifetime.  It’s time to focus on building up your self worth by choosing better thoughts.

 

Fill Your Cup

The next way you can build up your self worth is finding other ways to fill your cup with positivity.  Do things that bring you joy and make you happy.  Maybe that’s spending time with friends and family.  Perhaps that’s taking an online class, an in person workshop, working on a new hobby, trying a fun craft, reading, traveling, etc.  Experiment with what works best for you to increase your positivity, mood, and mental well being.  When you’re happier you feel better about yourself and your life so that you’ll be more inclined to take action towards your goals.

 

Self Love

Another way you can build up your self worth is by focusing on self love.  Spend time on your own personal self care.  As in, regular time for rest and relaxation, yoga practices, healthy eating, taking time for meditation or mindfulness.  It’s dedicating time on a daily basis to recharge your batteries and take care of yourself because you value your self worth.  Maybe that’s going on walks to destress, taking a few deep breaths, or running a warm bath to relax and clear your head.  Your self worth is determined by how much you value yourself so choose to take care of yourself.

 

Time

Lastly, your self worth is also measured by what you do with your time.  You’re only given a certain amount of time on this planet so you need to make the most of it.  That means going after your goals and dreams in life.  It’s not waiting for the perfect time because there will never be a more perfect time than right now.  Your time is extremely valuable and limited so choose to do things that your highly worthy self would deem important.  Let go of any excuses that you’re not smart, old, young, or worthy enough.  Do not get to the end of your life with regret or resentment over what could have or should have been.  Decide to take action now because you are absolutely one million percent worthy of success.

 

 

Your amazing, incredible life is waiting.  But, only if you start taking action today.  Your worth is determined by you and you alone.  It’s not based off what other people think of you.  Start by choosing more positive self talk to replace the words of your negative inner critic.  Find your own inner cheerleader and turn up the volume.  Do things that light you up and fill your cup.  Take time to continue building up your self worth by focusing on self love.  When you have a high self worth, you realize that taking care of yourself is just as important as going after your goals in life.  Value your time and acknowledge your self worth because you’re worth it!
