Discover The Energy Of Light

Dec 27, 2018

The universe is made up of energy.  This includes energy from light.  Light is easily seen in the sun, moon, and stars.  But there are also light waves that are undetectable in plain sight.

The Japanese discovered that our human bodies emit light in a level that is 1,000 times less intense than all levels that can be seen by the naked eye.  In fact, all living creatures emit an extremely weak light.

Our bodies not only emit light, but also a band of color around us.  This energy given off by our bodies is called an aura.  Being able to read someone’s aura can say a lot about their emotional and energetic state.

This bring us to the world of chakra.  Chakra is an old Sanskrit word that translates to wheel or disk.  There are seven main chakras, or wheels of energy in our bodies. Each contains a bundle of nerves and major organs which form our state of being.  It is essential to keep the chakra’s open and aligned because if a blockage develops, energy cannot flow.  This invisible energy is called Prana, which is a vital force that keeps us healthy and alive.

Chakras connect our mind, body, soul, and spirt.  Recognizing pain in a chakra that is linked to a life event can speed up healing.  For example, a woman who lost her husband develops bronchitis in her chest.  This points to heart chakra being affected and in need of attention.  The healing process will be much faster if the woman allows herself to grieve while she treats her cough.  Being aware of the balance and alignment of our chakras will allow us to live healthier lives.

It is said that there is a spark within us that keeps us living.  Sometimes our spark starts to die out and we need to reignite that spark. Meaning we need to rediscover our excitement, purpose, and passion for life.  This spark keeps us motivated and reaching for higher levels of achievement.

We are all connected through energy.  These connections happen when a concert goes dark and everyone turns on their cell phone flashlight, waving it in the air.  Or when everyone lights a candle to hold in a crowd.  In a sea of light we feel connected and at peace.  The energy that is created by this light is truly magical.

Light is also honored in yoga.  At the end of each yoga practice, often our hands are placed together in a prayer position at our chest and the word “namaste” is said.  This is to honor the light within.  Even some yoga teachers will express the phrase “may the light in me honor the light in you.”  It is a peaceful phrase acknowledging the hard work from the practice and the energy of each person.

This energy allows us to thrive.  Some people use essential oils to help tune into their energy source.  Others use meditation to establish a mind body connection. Either way we are tapping into our own energy source.  Keep the light alive and ever stop dreaming of the future.
