If you want to make positive change in your life, it’s up to you to recognize when to do so. The universe may throw you a small pebble to get you to notice that something isn’t working. A rock or even a larger bolder could be placed in your path until the issue receives your full attention. This could be a medical emergency or just a massive challenge that throws your life for a loop. Often times, you wait until it’s too late and the bolder has already impacted your life. It’s time to start noticing the small pebbles and acknowledge when something is off or doesn’t feel right in your life so that you can create positive change and improve your life for the better.
Start by tuning with how you feel mentally, physically, and emotionally. Determine which area of your life is struggling or just simply not how you want to feel. Maybe an area of your life feels heavy, stressful, or draining. Choose how you want this area of your life to feel instead and set a goal in order to make that change happen. You might need to delegate some work or ask for help. Perhaps you need further education or expertise from a book or course. You may need to set boundaries in this area of your life and reduce the amount of time you spend there. Or, maybe you need to create a new daily routine with more healthier habits. Design the life of your dreams by acknowledging when you need to make changes in certain areas of your life.
Change will not magically happen on its own. If you want something in life it’s up to you to take action and work to make it happen. First you must get clear on what you want. Then, you need to create a plan to achieve it. Lastly, you have to take action. Change the areas of your life that feel off and need attention before it’s too late. Do not be afraid when you’re going to have to step outside your comfort zone. This is ultimately change. If you want something different in your life then you’re going to have to do something different. You must be the catalyst to create positive change in your life.
You are the solution and the problem. The problem is you want to remain where you currently are in your comfort zone of what you know to be safe. Yet, you know a certain area of your life feels off but you tell yourself you can deal with that rather than risk the scary unknown of what’s outside your comfort zone. Only when life becomes too difficult or unbearable will you attempt to change. Do not let it get to that point. You can make little changes now that will drastically change your life. These don’t have to be huge changes. It can be small changes such as, increasing your step count by 1000 steps, choosing a healthier daily snack, including a five minute daily meditation or journaling. Choose a tiny goal that will slowly begin to change your life. Once you’ve made this change a part of your life and it becomes second nature, you can select something else to focus on to continue making improvements. Each change will build on each other and with that momentum you’ll be miles ahead of where you currently are. But, only if you take action and become the solution rather than being content living in the problem.
Change does not happen on its own. Sometimes you are forced to change with a wake up call because you haven’t been paying enough attention. Start by completing an analysis of the areas of your life and determine what isn’t working. Then, set small goals to create positive change in your life. You must take action and do this. It’s not going to magically happen on its own. Do not be afraid of stepping outside your comfort zone and trying something new. What’s waiting on the other side is a happier life because you decided to create positive changes. Do not remain stuck in your comfort zone thinking that life is just okay as it is. You are meant for more and you have the ability to create the life of your dreams if you just take action to make it happen. Stop waiting and wishing for something to change in your life. Instead, become the solution and start creating positive change in your life.
